Tholi B & Black Pearl To Leave YFM

YFM fans were devestated to hear the news that popular Djs Tholi B & Black Pearl are leaving YFM!

Rofhiwa Bologo, popularly known as Tholi B is set to replaces Highveld stereo’s Pabi Moloi who is leaving the radio station end of the month.

With six years experience in radio, Tholi B who currently hosts YFM’s weekday drive show EnRoute 6 has been hitting it big in the entertainment industry including presenting the NYDA sponsored show ‘Limitless’ on SABC 1. 

He has expressed his excitement saying : “I am very excited to be joining 94.7 Highveld Stereo. It has long been a dream of mine. The show poses a new challenge, and I feel ready for it.”

Pearl Modiadie aka Black Pearl, who presented the weekend breakfast show The Jumpstart, is also set leave the youth station but to instead follow her first love of presenting she is to have her biggest presenting role yet, on SABC1, it was confirmed in a statement released by her manager Sean McCollet.

She is due to present a music show called Zaziwe which will air every Wednesday at 7PM, with the first episode airing on the 22nd of May which she describes as a “life-changing opportunity”.  She is also a regular field presenter on SABC 3’s Expresso, an experience she is thoroughly enjoying and will persure other aspects of her career include acting.
