After it was cancelled at the end of 2012, Mzansi Magic (DStv 161) has decided to bring back the local magazine show All Access Mzansi, once again retooled with new presenters after the show shifted to the channel from M-Net two years ago.
All Access Mzansi will return to Mzansi Magic on 20 June at 19:30, this time with new presenters (Who all happen to be musicians) Dineo Ranaka and the singer Nandi Mngoma, ProVerb, who is also the presenter of Idols: SA is the only former presenter retained with Pabi Moloi, Jason Greer and Bridget Masinga not returning to the show.
Proverb will once again be the presenter (and co-producer) of Idols: SA which is due to start again on M-NET & Mzansi Magic later on this year, Ranaka is a presenter on e.tv music magazine show Club 808 plus starring in her own reality show ‘Dineo’s Diary’ on Vuzu another M-NET channel this will be the beautiful Nandi Mngoma’s first major TV gig.
About the new presenting trio, Yolisa Phahle, the channel director for special interest channels at M-Net, said: “We were looking for presenters who know what it’s like to be in the spotlight themselves and are able to bring that to the inserts and interviews they do, in a relaxed and informal fashion, ProVerb, Nandi and Dineo fit that bill just perfectly and we’re thrilled that they are going to be taking All Access Mzansi into a fantastic new world.”
Mzansi Magic has not responded to media enquiries made weeks ago as to why the channel cancelled the Homebrew Films production during the latter part of 2012
